The Connections Lab (cLab) is a research group, led by Dr. Carman Neustaedter at Simon Fraser University's School of Interactive Arts + Technology (SIAT). Our group specializes in the areas of Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Supported Collaboration, Domestic Computing, and Ubiquitous Computing. We study the design and use of technologies aimed at supporting the everyday activities of people. Many of our research projects focus on connecting people through space and time with technology. This includes connecting family members and friends, providing support for workplace collaboration, and even bringing people together through games.
If you are interested in joining our group as a graduate student, please read this page.
