The Boid Island Dispute
I wrote an essay for a third year undergraduate course on international law. The essay can be found here: Boid Island Dispute.
The essay contains a court ruling about the fictitious island of Boid and a murder that occurred there. The ruling is fictitious, however, over the last decade I have received several emails from people about it who think it is a real court decision AND a real island(!).
I also just found out that, ten years later, the essay is now the focus of a section of a book, Territorial disputes and resource management: a global handbook by Rongxing Guo.
